Conditions for Disease Development | |
Sunscad is prevalent during hot and dry weather condition. | |
It is most common on green fruits

Management and Control: | |
Cover exposed fruits with rice straws or shade plants.
|
|
Minimize pruning. | |
Control foliar diseases so as not to expose the fruits to the sun.
